Since I started guiding others into this painting practice in 1996, the intention has ALWAYS been to create with color & form SO THAT we could learn what we needed to CREATE the art that is our life in a way that lights us up.
Just before I received this calling, I was totally rudderless in my life, with no idea what I wanted to "do."
All I knew was that I wanted life to be FUN! I wanted it to be an ADVENTURE.
I understood that the linear, logical approach I had learned in school & from the adults around me was NOT the pathway.
When I said YES to the call to open a space where people could develop their "ARTIST MENTALITY" so that they could create the life of their dreams, everything changed.
That was 28 years ago...
I have devoted my life to creating spaces within which YOU can reclaim your Creative Spirit.
I study metaphysics, quantum physics, the science of happiness & am constantly opening more & more to the mystery on a PERSONAL level.
This course is the culmination of almost three decades immersed in this journey of rediscovery.

My Dad transitioned, ending a shared lesson, we no doubt agreed to, to heal and deepen into the subtle frequencies that are the true driving force on this planet. I'm not sure he ever got it in his physical life, he does now. Reconciling that journey & juggling a multi-dimensional online business, my body started to reign me in. I got quiet. I said no to some commitments (I never do that), and then I went to the canvas.
This course is what emerged.

In January 2024 I am / I did travel to Bali by myself to spend a month immersed in yoga, movement, meditation, and the most tremendous heART energy I have ever experienced.
Each of the EIGHT lessons are supplemented by an art journaling version of the lesson AND a meditation inspired by the energy of the people, the land and the spirit of Bali.
After traveling to Bali in Spring 2023, I felt called to return. This is the first time I have travelled alone for this long in this remote of a location. I know there is a bigger reason and I can't wait to share it with you here.
I know many of you know me and have been a member of this studio for a long time, and for that i am incredibly grateful.
For those of you new to this space, welcome and it is for YOU that I created this course.

We gather to paint, to connect, to share, to meditate... they are pop-up style because I don't like to commit too far in advance (I also paraglide, ski, hike...in my mountain valley home, so the weather often determines my schedule).
